Greetings! I bring you a tale of pre-ordering joy!
If you were watching the updates and exclusives coming out of San Diego Comic-Con a few months ago, as I was, you might have seen a special set from NECA featuring all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 1990 movie. This set of 7 inch figures was offered at around $120 and quickly garnered interest from just about everyone. You can still find the set of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo fairly easily online, but you'll be shelling out at least twice the original price.
But fret not! Just a few weeks ago, NECA announced that they would be releasing each Turtle individually as exclusives through GameStop. Priced at only $23 each, all four figures total just a little under the original boxed set price. It has not yet been announced what sort of accessories the figures will come with. The figures are due February of next year.
Yes, I placed my pre-order for all four! And I am VERY excited!
