I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to my LCS, Downtown Comics, for a prize I won last week. Every Tuesday, Manager Mike does a Facebook video highlighting new books and other offerings for the week. And during said videos, he usually has some sort of giveaway. Well, last week's prize was a code for a digital copy of Avengers: Infinity War. They received these copies through a partnership with The Owens Group, and had a total of 3 to give away. So I listened. I commented. And my name was called as the winner. I stopped in the West-side location the next day, New Comic Day, but the code had not been dropped off yet. I was out of town the remainder of the week, attending my brother's retirement from 22+ years in the Air Force, but made it in on my way home from work today. I have my code! Again, thank you!
